FAMILY
The Hoopstars Family is a group of teammates, coaches, "big sisters", mentors, partners, and financial contributors, all of whom share a common vision. We invest time, talent, and finances to foster the education, empowerment, and athletic growth of our female student-athletes.
COACHES
We must first educate through sport and accompanying experiences - traveling, workshops, etc - then support our student-athletes as they transition. Whether it's high school, college, or the work place, student-athletes need a network of friends, mentors, & coaches to help navigate life's hurdles. This is the foundation the Hoopstars Family is built on.

FIELD KLINE
WSU
I've been blessed to have trained and coached hundreds of phenomenal student-athletes. Alumni include several All-League, All-Area, All-State, Narrows League and Evergreen Conference MVP's, and a McDonalds All-American nominee.
Over 40 student-athletes have gone onto D1, D2, D3 and NAIA college athletics. They have graduated from Princeton, Stanford, Air Force Academy, Gonzaga, University of Washington, University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Washington State University, University of Portland, University of Victoria, Western Washington University, St. Martins, Northwest Nazarene, George Fox, Linfield, Whitman, Whitworth and Pacific Lutheran University to name a few.
I truly feel that I'm the luckiest guy on the planet. Each and every day I get to work with smart, high-character, high-achieving young adults that are sure to be tomorrow's leaders.

JASON BRIGGS
PRINCETON BASKETBALL
I was Coach Kline's first PG nearly 20 years ago and still believe he is one of the best coaches I've played for or worked with. I believe the education attained on the court and the friendship/family we built off of it are the most important-and often missing-pieces of prep programs. This is the magic we aim to provide to all of our players.
I was a 4-year Varsity player at Olympia High School & Captain, Narrows League scoring champion and MVP, 1st Team All-State, and a McDonald's All-American nominee my Senior year. I was lucky enough to play Division 1 basketball at Princeton University where I earned the Bob Rock 6th Man Award and Captain honors.
I believe the experiences enjoyed on the court and those I've attained in the classroom, workplace, and abroad equip me with a unique perspective that I am excited to share with our student-athletes.
BIG SISTERS
Our Big Sisters are high-character, high-achieving Hoopstars Family alumni. Big sisters frequently drop by practice to play and have fun. They also sit on the bench at tournaments and offer advice to current players.

MENTORS
We have a group of smart, successful women that are available as mentors when asked. Mentors provide counsel, guidance and support to our student-athletes as they navigate the academic challenges of high school and the application process for college admission. We are lucky to have a group of such educated, friendly, and selfless women that look forward to chatting with players and parents.
